Obituary


Charlotte R. Baldwin went to our Lord on November 25, 2016. She was the beloved wife of Richard A. Baldwin; devoted mother of Charlotte R. Phillips-Proulx and R. Glenn Phillips; grandmother of Charlotte Knott, Kramer Phillips, Alex, Carolyne and Audrey Phillips; and dear sister of Carol Liguori.

Charlotte was a high-energy person and enjoyed being a cheerleader during her high school days in Port Chester, New York. From New York she moved to Kansas to attend Kansas State College. After college she moved to California where she was a campaign manager for Ronald Reagan....

Charlotte R. Baldwin went to our Lord on November 25, 2016. She was the beloved wife of Richard A. Baldwin; devoted mother of Charlotte R. Phillips-Proulx and R. Glenn Phillips; grandmother of Charlotte Knott, Kramer Phillips, Alex, Carolyne and Audrey Phillips; and dear sister of Carol Liguori.

Charlotte was a high-energy person and enjoyed being a cheerleader during her high school days in Port Chester, New York. From New York she moved to Kansas to attend Kansas State College. After college she moved to California where she was a campaign manager for Ronald Reagan. She also owned three employment and two travel agencies in California. She married and moved to Yakima, Washington where she worked as a Superior Court Administrator for 15 years. She worked tirelessly to keep the Superior Court judges on schedule.

She was the President of the Yakima Soroptimists, on the Salvation Army Board for 15 years, worked with the Sundown M Ranch for 10 years, a member of Leslie Loudon Memorial Hospital Guild, Yakima Sunrise Rotary, and President of the National Association of Trial Court Administrators for 2 years and a member for 12, and on the Yakima County Planning Committee. Charlotte was most proud of being a champion bridge player.

Arrangements are in the hands of Keith and Keith Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 212 North 4th Street, Yakima. A reception will follow immediately in the Schoenberg Parish Hall.

Charlotte will be interred in a family plot at Terrace Heights Memorial Park immediately following the reception at 2:00 p.m.
