Donald Stewart Hopkins, age 71, passed away early August 8, 2017 in the loving arms of his family. He was born to Harry and Catherine Hooey Hopkins in Phillipsburg, NJ on February 9th, 1946. Don received his early education at Belvidere, NJ where he graduated high school.
Through a mutual friend, Don met and later married the beautiful Virginia Young in Panther Valley, NJ. Don and Ginny started their life long relationship and raised their daughter Denell in Belvidere, NJ.

Donald Stewart Hopkins, age 71, passed away early August 8, 2017 in the loving arms of his family. He was born to Harry and Catherine Hooey Hopkins in Phillipsburg, NJ on February 9th, 1946. Don received his early education at Belvidere, NJ where he graduated high school.
Through a mutual friend, Don met and later married the beautiful Virginia Young in Panther Valley, NJ. Don and Ginny started their life long relationship and raised their daughter Denell in Belvidere, NJ.

He dedicated his life to his family and provided for them through his employment with the BASF Corporation, handling logistics in their commercial coating division in Belvidere, NJ. Don was also a proud member of the Masons. He was the Past Master of the Warren Lodge #13 F&M, and was also a member of the Mansfield Lodge #36 F&M. Don was a 32 degree Mason. He was also a member of a number of additional fraternal organizations were he dedicated a large portion of his time including The Shriners, The Scottish Rite, The Grand Lodge of New Jersey and Tall Cedars.

Don is survived by his dear wife Virginia and their daughter Denell (Chuck) Colmenero of Selah, WA along with 3 grandchildren Nicolas, Adriana, and Alexandra Colmenero also of Selah, WA. He is also survived by his siblings Al Hopkins of Longpond, PA, Lee Hopkins of San Francisco, CA, Ron Hopkins of Delaware, NJ and Pat Hopkins of Belvidere, NJ.

Don is preceded in death by his parents Harry and Catherine, and his siblings Robert and Ricky.
