Juana (Juanita) Hernandez Hugill, beloved wife of Robert Hugill, and cherished mother of Alex and Samantha, and step-son Zachery Hugill. She passed away on Mother's Day, May 14, 2017 in the loving embrace of her family. Juanita was born October 1, 1961 in San Francisco Del Rincon GTO, Mexico. She received her early education in Mexico and moved with her family to Yakima, WA, where she later met (on a blind date) her husband Robert who she married on October 22, 1997.

Juana (Juanita) Hernandez Hugill, beloved wife of Robert Hugill, and cherished mother of Alex and Samantha, and step-son Zachery Hugill. She passed away on Mother's Day, May 14, 2017 in the loving embrace of her family. Juanita was born October 1, 1961 in San Francisco Del Rincon GTO, Mexico. She received her early education in Mexico and moved with her family to Yakima, WA, where she later met (on a blind date) her husband Robert who she married on October 22, 1997.

The greatest joy of her life came with the birth of her son Alex and two years later her daughter Samantha. Juanita loved many things in her life, but her greatest joy was the many trips to the ocean with her husband's large family, as well as trips to Mexico to see her family and friends. Juanita returned to work this last year specifically to save money for a second trip to Disney Land to celebrate Alex's high school graduation and as a reward for both her children's exceptional grades.

Juanita is survived by her loving husband Robert, her two children Alex, and Samantha, step son Zachery, parents Jose Hernandez Rodriguez and Trinidad Gonzalez Ramirez. She is also survived by her siblings Maria Del Socorro Hernandez, Juan (Beatriz) Antonio Hernandez, Jose (Nora Mireya) Luis Hernandez, Jose (Marisol) de Jesus Hernandez, Blanca Olivia (Manuel Garcia) Hernandez, Francisco (Guadalupe Griselda) Javier Hernandez and Cesar (Imelda Lizeth), Fabian Hernandez, mother-in-law Gloria Anderson, father-in-law Russell (Sharon) Hugill, sister-in-law Pamela Hugill, along with 28 nieces and nephews and many extended family.

The family would like thank Memorial Hospital and Virginia Mason's critical care unit staff for the loving care they gave Juanita, and a special thanks to Dr. Ma, Dr. Jaffri and Dr. Leveque.

A viewing and visitation will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary service starting 7:00 p.m. at Rainier Memorial Center located at 2807 Terrace Heights Dr. in Yakima, WA. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Paul Catholic Church on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Tahoma cemetery.
